We would request that page 7 'Applying the policies in the assessment of planning
applications' point 1.36-1.42 include a section encouraging developers to seek pre-application advice. Where their proposal is adjacent to our waterway, they should consult the Trust, we provide free pre-application advice. We would also advise developers to consult our Code of Practice for practical advice:
